Heat Exchangers and Condensers
A common problem in any refinery or chemical plant is leaking heat exchangers and condensers. Most of the time there are some questions in the mind of the operations and maintenance staff about the leak.
- Is the reboiler or condenser leaking or is there contaminant in the feed?
- In a bank of exchangers, which one is leaking?
- For a feed/effluent exchanger, is there a leak or is there a problem with the catalyst bed?
