tanks need to be routinely monitored to determine sediment, water, hydrocarbon,
and/or emulsion levels. The TruTec™ Neutron Backscatter technique
and TRACERCO™ permanently fixed level gauge can quickly provide
information to plant personnel regarding the contents within a tank.
In the case of sludge levels this allows a better estimation of time,
manpower, and equipment needed to clean the tank, reducing the time the
tank is out of service. When using the technology for level measurement
the scan results can assist accounting personnel with accurate inventory
volume.
