vapor distribution studies.
In the case of mass transfer, many towers are opened under the suspicion
of internal damage only to discover there is none! Consider heat
exchangers. Units are shutdown, heat exchangers are isolated and hydrotested,
and no leaks are found. Cost/benefit analysis has shown time and
time again the value of Tracerco services when compared to customer
losses due to poor product quality, production loss, production re-work or an
unplanned “forced” shutdown due to a particular process plant problem.
Using Tracerco to diagnose a problem allows maintenance and production
planners to focus on the specific problem, acquire required materials, and
prepare necessary labor before the system is shutdown.
