Tracerco awarded major contract in Azerbaijan

Tracerco, part of Johnson Matthey Plc, has received an order for the BP operated Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli (ACG) and Shah Deniz Production Sharing Agreements (PSA) in Azerbaijan. The two year call off contract with a further one year option is to provide RPA support, process diagnostics and instrument servicing for assets operated by BP of the ACG and Shah Deniz partners. The Shah Deniz gas field and the ACG oil field lie in the Azerbaijan sector of the Caspian Sea.

Tracerco opened a branch in Baku in August 2006 to allow it to provide local support to meet its customer needs in Azerbaijan and the remainder of the Caspian region. Investment in the area will include the hiring and training of local Azerbaijanis.
