Tracerco offers a range of Intrinsically Safe Radiation Monitors which can be used to measure radiation dose rate or characterise process and environmental contaminants.
Intrinsic safety, which allows the radiation monitors to function safely in the presence of explosive gas mixtures, is a property which demands a highly specialised design and manufacturing process and is underpinned by Tracerco's 50 years of experience in the field. The TRACERCO™ T201 and TRACERCO™ Mud Monitor are the only Radiation Contamination Monitors on the market, which are Intrinsically safe and designed specifically for use in external environments.
The global success of the intrinsically safe range of radiation monitors has catalysed the development of a non-intrinsically safe version of each product, which retains the same unique functionality and environmental performance. These radiation monitors have been shown to address clear market needs in the Nuclear, Defence, Industrial Research and Educational Sectors.
The technical performance and product quality of the radiation monitor services business is reinforced through regular external audits by Lloyds Assessors. Products have ATEX (Europe) and FM (USA) approvals.
