Utilising the TRACERCO Diagnostics™ Pipeline Assurance novel inspection techniques, sophisticated tracers and advanced measurement technology, Tracerco is able to diagnose a wide range of issues that occur within production pipelines, allowing us to more easily determine flow regimes and diagnose operating problems such as deposits build-up and slugging.

Non-intrusive, online pipeline deposit measurements (wax, scale, hydrates) can identify the exact location and amount of deposits, as well as total pipeline deposits inventory over any length of pipeline.

Accurate and reliable pig tracking or isolation tool positioning and monitoring, can be provided by the use of radioisotope tracking technology, and is applicable to any line diameter and wall thickness, including pipe-in-pipe. Stuck pigs with no tracking device attached can also be located by external pipeline scanning. This is the only 100% reliable method of tracking and locating pipeline pigs.

Non-intrusive, on-line measurement of liquid slugging can determine the accurate size and frequency of liquid or gas slugs.

The condition of an annulus within a pipe-in-pipe system can be confirmed dry or flooded by the use of a pipe-in-pipe annulus integrity external pipeline scan.

Pipeline flow rates and deposit quantities can be accurately measured using radioisotope tracing technology, this has a range of benefits ranging from flow meter calibration, process studies and deposit quantification for planning pigging campaigns.
