Fuel Tagging with TRACERCO™ Taggants.

Tracerco has developed over a number of years, a range of different TRACERCO™ F-Tags that can be used as part of wider fuel brand protection exercises, anti-adulteration programmes, quality assurance and anti-theft investigations.

The tracers that Tracerco has developed are unique, organic molecules that are added to the fuels during production at concentrations as low as parts per billion (ppb). Detection can be as low as parts per trillion (ppt).

These tracers are highly stable, cannot be laundered using chemical or physical methods from the fuel and are both safe to handle and environmentally friendly. They can be added either directly into the gasoline or diesel (using a variety of injector techniques) or with the additives package for the specific fuel.

Various analytical platforms are available to our customers, including laboratory, mobile and portable analysis, which together with our tracers enables our customers to detect down to below 2% adulteration or substitution of the fuel.
