Industry news - Are you ready for the introduction of Phase II of the EU Emissions Trading Scheme?

The introduction of Phase II of the EU Emissions Trading Scheme (EU ETS) means that there will be an increased requirement for Operators to demonstrate that they are measuring their carbon dioxide emissions accurately.

As an Operator, there is a requirement that you will implement a programme for the monitoring and reporting of greenhouse emissions from your facilities. It is therefore critical that you can rely on your installed flare gas flow meter for confident regulatory compliance.

Using the TRACERCO Diagnostics™ Flow Study we can measure the flow rate with an uncertainty value of less than 1% for the velocity of the gas, and an uncertainty value of less than 4% for the total flow. A quick and reliable technique, the calibration of flare gas meters can be carried out online and in real time.
