course
 Introduction
The TRACERCO Profiler™ training course is designed
with operator and maintenance personnel in mind. Our aim
is to familiarise people who will be involved in using our
instrument, or controlling processes that it provides information
about.
The TRACERCO Profiler™
The day is split into two sessions.
- General Course – designed for operators to maintenance
personnel. 09.15 – 12.30 with a morning coffee break
- Maintenance course – designed for maintenance
personnel and system integrators. 13.30 – 17.00
with an afternoon coffee break
 General
Course
This is a general course suitable for operators to maintenance
personnel. It explains how the instrument works and how
the information provided relates to the process. There is
also a general radiological protection session for radiation
instruments like The TRACERCO Profiler™.
Upon completion of the course you will be able to
- Understand how The TRACERCO Profiler™ works
- Understand how it relates to the separation process
- Understand the safety and hazard issues of radiation
instruments
- Use The TRACERCO Profiler™ to optimize your process
for better control
Maintenance Course
This is the PLC course for maintenance personnel. It explains
how to interface and optimize The TRACERCO Profiler™
using our PLC software; how to alter the various Profiler
parameters discussed in the morning session, and how to
trouble-shoot using the PLC.
Upon completion of the course you will be able to
- Interrogate the PLC.
- Understand the various components of the system.
- Trouble-shoot and alter parameters
Course Details
The course is held at our Belasis site, Billingham with
its own onsite facilities. The price includes tea, coffee
and course documentation. Computer, PLC and additional equipment
are also provided for the afternoon session.
