Job purpose

Working as part of a busy administration team, this role will provide administration support to the PD department to support project activity.  This is an apprenticeship role where the successful candidate will train on the job and work towards a Level 3 qualification in Business Administration, developing their skills in a dynamic and growing business.

Principal accountabilities

  • Responding to customer emails and telephone calls
  • Inputting of data onto company systems and spreadsheets
  • Maintaining electronic filing systems
  • Generating invoice requests
  • Following up with customers on status of outstanding enquiries
  • Contacting customers to request purchase orders for outstanding work
  • Assisting the customer service team with preparation of quotes and provided support during absences
  • General administration duties to support the customer service team and wider team
  • Carrying out any other duties as required

Requirements for the role:

  • Minimum of 4 GCSE including Maths and English
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and organize workload
  • Works well as part of a team
  • Enthusiastic and self-motivated
