Field Engineer - UK

The role of Field Engineer is to safely carry out site survey, installation, servicing and commissioning of a portfolio of specialist level and density instrument products on customer locations worldwide.

Your responsibilities:

• Analysing data and presenting findings in written reports / presentations
• Working collaboratively with system design engineers, Project Managers and other field engineers to design, install and commission instrument solutions.
• Understanding and ensuring compliance with relevant health & safety regulations and quality standards.
• Safely undertaking work on customer sites whilst upholding Johnson Matthey & Tracerco’s reputation.
• Assisting Pre-Fat, FAT and any instrument / equipment testing
• Undertaking maintenance or modifying existing installed systems

Requirements for the role:

•  Instrumentation and Control Engineering qualification or previous field experience (Desirable)
• Possess a strong Health & Safety mindset
• Excellent verbal & written communication and organisational skills dealing with customers at a global level
• Demonstrable experience in successfully working to tight deadlines with multiple tasks.
• Demonstrating using own initiative and experience to overcome problem solving
• Travel will be required for this role
