Field Engineer

We are currently looking for a Field engineer to join our business.

In this position you will be part of the Measurement Insights team, responsible for carrying out Process Diagnostic techniques as a team member on all sealed source techniques and relatively simple unsealed tracer techniques, in order to provide a professional global customer service

Key responsibilities

• To be part of teams, in order to deliver Tracerco Operations services to customers.
• Conduct investigations using radioisotope techniques on customers’ onshore processes and process equipment and also offshore and abroad.
• Liaise with customers and seek to resolve all queries within a specific timescale.
• Carry out fault finding and troubleshooting techniques in order to resolve customer queries.
• Provide professional technical diagnostic reports and present findings and results to customers.
• Promote Tracerco’s extended services to customers whilst at their sites, in order to generate future business.
• To work away from home and travel extensively to support the Tracerco business.
• To be the key ‘Tracerco Face’ at customer sites providing a professional service.
• Become the radiation expert for Netherlands and Germany.

Are you the ideal candidate with?

• Full driving license is essential
• No fear of heights is essential
• Speaking Dutch or french fluently is essential, as is good Dutch or French and English writing
• Speaking English above average is essential
• German knowledge is a +
• Good software utilisation is essential
• Experience in a similar role within the oil, gas or process industry is desirable
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers is essential
• Practical aptitude is essential
• Enquiring/challenging mind is essential
• Team leadership skills is essential
• Self-motivation is essential
