As a Manufacturing Technician at Johnson Matthey’s Tracerco business, you will manufacture reservoir tracers in an end-to-end production process, producing cast products in a variety of formats.  Your success will contribute to ensuring project deadlines and production schedules are met.

Your responsibilities:

  • Work safely and efficiently to produce tracer materials in line with customer project demands
  • Work as part of a small team to complete tracer orders to timescale as directed by the reservoir business
  • Liaise with the Manufacturing Supervisor to coordinate and prioritise work duties to ensure project deadlines and production schedules are met
  • Perform stock control to ensure adequate materials are available to meet production schedule and liaise with suppliers as directed
  • Aid the Manufacturing Supervisor in delivering an efficient project workflow, planning concurrent manufacturing projects, and implementing lean processes to maximise lab production
  • Deputise for the Manufacturing Supervisor when required

Requirements for the role:

  • Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment
  • Organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Proven ability to deliver products on time
  • Computer literate (Word, Excel, Outlook etc)
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Education and interest in Science and Technology related subjects

This is a Monday – Friday based role, with flexitime hours and the opportunity for overtime/ additional weekend work. 12 months FTC
