We are currently looking for a Physicist to join our newly formed ideation team with experience and understanding of nucleonics and radiation.

Principal accountabilities

As part of the wider Product Development and Innovation team providing the understanding and development a technical response to the commercial team’s analysis of market trends and data. This role requires the ability to support and develop intelligent and innovative measurement, detection and analysis technologies. Practical, hands on experience of instrumentation in industry would be beneficial for this position.

This exciting role requires an innovative, independent thinker capable of working in a fast-paced team. The ideation team’s brief is to deliver value to our customers through new products, identify opportunities in new markets, and to allow data to inform our decisions and progress. Above all, this position offers a unique opportunity for autonomous thought. You will contribute towards supporting the, design, development, prototyping and delivering of solutions, from concept scenarios to field trials, through to full-scale implementations for our customers.

Are you the ideal candidate?

You will be:

  • Post graduate background in physics or a related field (essential).
  • Graduates with project experience (essential).
  • Experience of applying physics and mathematical modelling (essential).
  • Solid experimental skills and capable of designing and performing experiments to test ideas, data analysis (essential).
  • Strong background in physics with proven analytical, statistical, and scientific skills (essential).
  • Ability to code in modern, and dynamic languages (desirable).
  • Graduates with industrial experience/internships experience (desirable)
