Reservoir Field Technician


Reporting to the Reservoir Project Manager, the Reservoir Technologist is an entry level field staff role. The job role primarily consists of performing the duties of an independent member of a field team, traveling to a customer site and safely carrying out reservoir tracer application.

  • Prepare frac job equipment and tracers without the need for any assistance using only the job proposal
  • Works on tasks, under supervision, which support projects, processes, programmes and understanding which are used within JM. Works under clear supervision with a daily and weekly focus.
  • Repair, replace and maintain frac equipment independently
  • Participate in job hazard analysis meetings at work site to ensure work is completed in a safe manner
  • Without assistance, perform tracer equipment set up and add tracers during routine reservoir operations
  • Feedback ideas to the reservoir development team and ensure ongoing development and growth within the Reservoir Tracer Business Unit

A significant portion of the activities in this position represents Tracerco by direct interaction with customer representatives at work sites to ensure that each project is carried out in a safe manner.
