27/02/2015

International oil and gas service provider, Tracerco, part of FTSE100 firm Johnson Matthey Plc has made two new senior appointments to its Reservoir Business Unit, highlighting the company’s commitment to growing and developing this area of the business in 2015 and beyond.

Charles Czajkowski joins Tracerco as Global Business Manager, with more than 30 years of experience including significant technical and commercial knowledge from working in the upstream market on a global scale.

Mr Czajkowski will be drawing on his previous experience and intrinsic understanding of business development to dedicate his time to the expansion of Tracerco’s existing reservoir services. This will involve facilitating the growth of the business into new locations across the world.

Mr Czajkowski commented: “My appointment comes at a time when the company is growing its reservoir offering both geographically and in terms of the technology. The company already has 30 years of experience in developing sophisticated tracer technology and is continually evolving its offering.

“As Global Business Manager for Tracerco’s reservoir business unit, my role will be to cultivate that growth and ensure that it is being managed strategically and effectively.”

“Having previously worked in the upstream oil industry I have a thorough understanding of the market and will use this knowledge to help Tracerco remain one of the clear leaders in the sector.”

Also joining Mr Czajkowski in the Reservoir Business Unit is Sarika Pugla, who will be taking on the role of Reservoir Technology Manager. Mrs Pugla brings with her some 15 years of experience working in technology, developing new software for Reservoir Engineers and driving sales in targeted markets.

With a team of more than 150 scientists within Tracerco’s Research and Development team, Tracerco’s innovative products are developed in response to customer needs. Miss Pugla will be responsible for managing this development in line with feedback and insight.

Tracerco is already well placed to offer a fully integrated and comprehensive service that provides expert analysis of samples anywhere in the world, with their network of strategically placed labs around the world.

Tracerco’s reservoir technologies can be deployed without interruption to well production and allow oil companies to gain a better understanding of reservoir fluid and gas movements throughout their oil and gas reservoirs, as well as both near, and within, the wellbore.

Tracerco is the industry pioneer in developing smart tracer technology for reservoir characterisation and continues to invest in cutting-edge tracer research and development. Its commitment to continuous technology innovation promises to deliver many exciting new solutions to customers in the years ahead.
