Tracerco honoured for its Institute of Physics Award

This week, representatives from Tracerco attended a parliamentary reception at the Houses of Parliament to celebrate the receipt of its Institute of Physics Award (IOP) for Innovation.

Paul Featonby, Technology Manager and Ken James, Chief Scientific Officer from Tracerco were invited to the reception for all IOP Innovation Award winners after being honoured for Tracerco’s breakthrough level measurement technology, LevelFinderPlus. The reception was hosted by the Rt Hon Dr Vince Cable MP, Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills and was attended by other IOP award winners from across the UK. The IOP Innovation Awards recognise companies that successfully commercialise cutting edge physics based technology.

Tracerco won this prestigious award earlier this year for its ground-breaking LevelFinderPlus measuring device which uses high technology to provide operators with accurate level measurement of liquids in vessels, even in the presence of deposit build-up and vapour density fluctuations.
