Tracerco’s Radiation Protection Supervisor (RPS) training courses are based on the Health and Safety Executive’s competency requirements, and are suitable for those working in the oil, gas, chemical industries (and others).
Our RPS training courses have been developed to provide delegates with the knowledge they need to supervise others working with sources of ionising radiation:
· To understand the hazards and risks of working with ionising radiation.
· To ensure compliance with the legislative requirements on your site.
· To develop safe systems of work and promote good working practices and continuous improvement.
A NORM workshop is included in each of the RPS training courses, which enables delegates to secure compliance with the conditions and limitations of a site’s environmental permit/authorisation.
RPS training courses are regularly held at our offices in Billingham and at Aberdeen, UK, but training can be undertaken at any of our global offices, or at a location selected by you.
Bespoke courses are available, to meet individual needs and reflect national legislative requirements of the host country. We also provide awareness training, which could include site visits, providing delegates with the opportunity to discuss specific issues.
Book your RPS training course now to improve competency, site safety and compliance to legislation.
